Claude Hid Messages in Pictures. Another AI Found Them Without a Hint.
Researchers asked Anthropic's Claude Fable 5.1 to hide 50 messages in images. A fresh Fable session recovered 39 of them from screenshots, with no hint of the method. It was on request, not spontaneous, but it shows AI agents could pass notes humans can't see.
